Another great well attended exhibition! The Hearth and Home exhibition held at Harrogate International Centre in North Yorkshire, England put on a brilliant show.

We had a very good catch up with our stockist, Landy Vent UK – it’s always great to see familiar faces! Landy Vent’s stand was fantastic!

Whilst walking the show, we found ourselves drawn to the numerous beautiful fires. The amazing stoves certainly kept the halls warm – we felt the stoves’ great warmth as soon as we walked through the doors!

We were very impressed with the exhibitors’ products and Firemizer gained a lot of interest from other attendees too! All in all, it was a great opportunity to meet people within the stove industry and see what other fantastic products and innovations are out there.

We are super thrilled to travel up to Harrogate, UK for the annual Hearth & Home Exhibition show! The exhibition is widely regarded as Europe’s leading showcase for the fireplace industry.

Since the launch of our unique money-saving product, Firemizer has been proven popular within the stove industry! It will be great to be able to introduce and share information about Firemizer with the traders from the show! We are very much looking forward to it! Keep on the lookout for us!

What a great exhibition!

We attended the National Association of Chimney Sweeps (NACS) exhibition show yesterday at Stratford–upon-Avon, UK and went around all the stands speaking to all the friendly staff members about their amazing products! After speaking with the President of NACS, he believes Firemizer will be of interest to many chimney sweepers and home owners! We can definitely look into setting up a Firemizer stand next year! Watch this space!

Red Nose Day

As one of the UK’s biggest fundraising events across the nation, Red Nose Day brings everyone together to do something fun to raise money.

This year Microtex Products Ltd have taken part in raising money on Red Nose Day to help transform the lives of millions of people living a tough life across the UK and Africa.

All the staff members wore their red noses in aid of Comic Relief. As a company we have decided to hold a bake sale! It was a great success as we raised a total of £73! £50 of the money we raised can help provide a girl living in a Kenyan slum, to do an apprenticeship and learn new life changing skills. For the remaining money we raised, could go towards paying for water purifiers for a household in rural Kenya, providing safe drinking water for a whole month.

What a great feeling knowing we can do something fun to help change the lives of others! We are already looking forward to next year’s Red Nose Day!

Spring Fair International held at the NEC (Birmingham, UK) is one of the main buying events for retailers. My colleague and I have recently visited the trade show and were amazed by all the products out there. Although we didn’t have a stand this year for our product, we can definitely envisage having a Firemizer stand out there in the future. We believe Firemizer will fit in well within the home sector products because after all Firemizer is a lifestyle home product for all stoves and fireplaces so… who knows what next year will bring?

All in all we had a fantastic day at the show and hopefully next year we will be exhibiting at this amazing event!

After a long day outside, we decided to have a few drinks and quiet night in. We all gathered around the fire, telling stories and catching up. The atmosphere was warm and cosy, the fire was mesmerizing, very relaxing. After a while, and a few drinks more, a friend commented that the fire seemed to last forever and that no one had added more fuel.  I smiled and told her the secret, the secret of Firemizer! I explained how the heat was conducted across the fire to burn all the logs thoroughly by slowing the burn rate. That wasn’t all, Firemizer actually creates less ash and lowers emissions.  How amazing is that? They were astounded one heat grid can do so much…and quite frankly so was I.

The perfect fire with the perfect friends certainly created the perfect evening.
