Burn rate & temperature results
University of Cambridge
Data was generated in a Portway Stove (Model PN2MFC) placed on an insulated mass-balance meter (Model Sartorius Combics 1) with a thermocouple positioned in the centre of the burning fire and published in a report entitled “Burn Rate Performance of Solid Fuels using FuelMiser” by SK Lam & TW Clyne, Department of Materials Science, University of Cambridge, UK in May 2011.
University of Nottingham
Data was generated in a coal grate placed on an insulated mass-balance meter (Model Metler Toledo) with a thermocouple positioned in the centre of the burning fire and published in a report entitled “Burn Rate Performance of Coal Fires using CoalMiser” by J Chaney & M Clifford, Environmental Technology Centre, University of Nottingham, UK in 2009.
OMNI-Test Laboratories Inc
Data was generated in a sealed EPA-certified wood stove at a High Burn Rate setting in a test booth using standardized US test methods EPA Method 5G, ASTM E 2515-11, EPA Method 28, EPA Method 25A, EPA Method 10, EPA Method 7E, EPA Method 3A & CSA B415.1-10 and published in a report entitled “Air Emissions Comparison Firemizer Hearth Liner” by J Clark and T Hertel, OMNI-Test Laboratories Inc, Portland, Oregon, USA in June 2014.
